OUR PROCESS
When I say these are hand forged knifes, I truly mean it. This is not a blade I bought on Amazon and put a handle on it that I bought from eBay. (trust me, there are people selling knives those kind as “hand made” knives.)
It has always been my desire to produce the best quality knife that I can possibly produce. I love the look and artistic value of a Damascus Knife so that is what I have specialized in. I use only top quality steels, normally 1095 / 15n20, and do all the forge welding right here in my shop.
Once I have created a billet of Damascus Steel, I will forge out a knife using hammering, and stock removal methods depending on the results I am looking for. I then hand grind all knives to the desired finished shape, bevel and smoothness and install a variety of handle styles. All my handles are produced and stabilized right here in my shop.
I believe every quality knife deserves a quality sheath, so I do all the leather work to produce a sheath that is custom fit to each knife. Because all these processes are done by hand, every knife is unique and there may be subtle variations that occur in the forging and grinding and leather crafting processes.
